Description
During my feedback session with Paul, I presented the first version of my sprint portfolio, along with the branding guidelines for our group project, my self-portrait, and the validation of my learning outcomes. This discussion provided valuable insights into my progress and areas for improvement..
What Went Well
Paul encouraged me to reflect on my design choices and provided positive feedback on the overall concept of my portfolio. He also appreciated the iterations I made for the branding project’s logo. Additionally, he reassured me that including one piece of evidence per learning outcome is sufficient at this stage, which confirms that I have enough material to meet the requirements.
Challenges
One challenge is distinguishing between true iterations and simply creating different versions of a design, particularly in my branding project. Additionally, ensuring that all projects and learning outcomes are properly documented with relevant links is something I need to refine. Since I have not yet started coding, setting up a Git repository and a README file for version control was also highlighted as an important next step.
Next Steps for Improvement
I will continue refining my portfolio by improving the PDF document, interactive prototype, and starting the coding process. I will also ensure that all projects and learning outcomes are clearly documented with the necessary links. Looking ahead, my goal remains to develop my skills as a front-end developer, and I will focus on strengthening my design, coding, and project management abilities to support my career growth.
